Hello, I'm Mitch, newbie, oldster, and empowered.
Listening to NPR, there came forth a medical news item, so wonderfully connecting with the theme in this last chronicles, it gave me great joy to daydream it into a conspiracy theory. Not that it's something this group needs to take seriously, it ain't going to reveal where the story is going, but in a similar vein as " As the World Burns!!! A Kevins Watch SOAP!", I'm hoping it will provide some comic relief.
So if something crosses your path that could pertain to SRD's saga, but ain't likely, throw it here and maybe someone will smile.
Peace, Love Dove,
and carry a big stick!

Neurohumoral Features of Myocardial Stunning Due to Sudden Emotional Stress or Broken Heart Syndrome.
Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore found some people may respond to sudden, overwhelming emotional stress by releasing large amounts of adrenaline and other chemicals into the blood stream. These chemicals can be temporarily toxic to the heart, effectively stunning the muscle and producing symptoms similar to those of a typical heart attack: chest pain, fluid in the lungs, shortness of breath and heart failure.
The radio report noted that although death is rare, it predominantly strikes older women (anybody we know?). As you read Runes and later chapters, look for the warning signs.

SRD, if you even dare to use this or any other lame brained theory found in these halls, I'll... I'll... I'll really feel bad!

Thanks Sheol, but looking at my last, well, I guess that's why I'm not a writer, at least of fantasy.
But guys and gals, this here's not about my ability to amuse, it's about yours to imagine. So if you can stand it a bit longer, hang around and see if this grows.
What I'm asking for, is for you to go to work/school/whatever, listen/look/feel the world around you and maybe something will come and bite you-know-what and cause a profound moment of astonishment. If it's really good, come back and put in a few words about it. Imagination, what a rush.
This morning, Winston Churchill commented about the prince's upcoming marriage. Looks like our law of death got broken too.

Only UK peeps will get this one ;)
I just spent two hours muttering "Nom" outside the gates of Old Trafford - sadly all I got for my troubles was a basket of prawns and the offer of a sponsorship deal... ah well...
