I'd agree that Enterprise had the best characters of any Star Trek series (although DS9 came close), but the plots often seemed a bit contrived. All that time travel without too much disruption of the timeline...

As for Stargate and Atlantis, I watch them because they have a blend of comedy and seriousness that seems to fit me like a glove, I also like all the characters. (normally there's some I don't like in any series - Wesley and dr. Polaski from Next generation, Jake Cisko from DS9, Neelix and Kes from Voyager, etc.

I don't understand why Firefly was cancelled, it is one of the best shows I have ever seen, and the theme music was amazing.

I'm not saying anything bad, but you'd really dig his plotlines... 8) (suggested readings: The Inverted World and Indoctrinaire.)
