But mainly, Calling the Nicor.

...any scene that involves going to a theater to see it.

Particularly:

- Nom (would have to wait for movies 5 and 6)
- The wraiths in Andelain
- The battle at Doriendor Corishev
- Brinn vs. the Guardian
- Under Mount Thunder (particularly the retrieval of the Second Ward)
- Satansfist squeezing green power from the piece of the Illearth Stone
Oh yes, I CAN hope... for an early release of the next TC book!

Cool Guys,
I totally forgot about the scene that would just kick ass on screen.

When TC first comes to the land. The first look over the parapet on Kevins Wath. I can almost hear the grandiose music and the the huge wide shot of miles and miles of the land below. Then the journey down the steps with Lena. TC fumbling with his nump, stupid limbs.

Actually, that will probably be in the first 15 minutes of celluloid!

Freakin' Sweet!

I'd like to see a behind-the-scenes scene...like Kevin in all his despair challanging Foul to the ROD

a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar

I want to see TC's moss-spattered journey through Morinmoss and the battle at Doriender Corishev. Oh, and Foamfollower & TC's journey into Foul's Creche.

Thinking about that I get visions of Hector's fight with Achilles in Troy. It'd be an awesome spectacle seeing a proper fight between Haruchai, and one I suspect no director would want to leave out. As the scene isn't experienced directly in the book, they'd have complete freedom.

The one scene I'd most like to see on screen would be when Covenant first summons Nom. The word alone should shock the audience after Hergrom's death. I know it did me when I read it.

Hector's fight with Achilles was great. The only problem was that I wanted Hector to win.

No matter what fight scenes they choose to film, all I can say is that I hope they remember there is gravity on the Land's earth. Because suddenly Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon just popped into my head.
And I don't want to see Keanu Reeves as Satansfist dodging Lord's fire while doing the limbo.

But seriously. The Wraiths do it for me. I'd also like to see a certain tan-and-moire giantish dromond. The Maw and Elemesnedene could be pretty cool if done well.

Actually....I better stop, or I'll just quote the books in their entirety and say "All That!" Amanibhavam is right on there.

I think that the most amazing part that I would love to se is when C was in his argument with his daughter, I think he is constantly being difficult at all he does, where he thrusts the Krill into th stone table. The power he holds is so unknow to him.

A couple I'd really love to see:

Trell's mini RoD in the Close
Lord Mhoram's Victory
Covenant travelling to Ridjeck Thome (specifically the bits with the Ramen and Saltheart Foamfollower)
The Soothtell

The moment of Dawn on Kevin's Watch after Hile Troy hears about the Seareach mission... which of course would be a cut away scene.... then the horror as the enemy horde is spread out for Troy to behold

"There's just too damn many"

In the movie it would have to be like this:

Hile try stares out at the Land, stunned.
Then he backs away from the wall, dazed.
Still looking straight ahead, he says to Mhoram:
"We're gonna need a bigger army."
(This is an allusion ... some under-twenties may not get it.)

THE OUTTAKES REEL.

Lord Foul the Despiser: One more word. I shall not rest until I have eradicated hope from the Land. Think of that--and be dis... dis... oh, dammit. LINE.

Thomas Covenant: KLAATU... BARAATA... NECKTIE. NICOR. NECTAR. NI*coughcoughcough*
Director: Nom! The line is "Nom"!
Thomas Covenant: ...hellfire.

Thomas Covenant: Don't touch meat. Me. Oh, bloody hell.

*Thomas Covenant takes a hesitant step down Kevin's Watch. Then another. And then another... before tripping and rolling down the entire way.*
Lena: Halfhand! Are you well?!
Thomas Covenant: ...*twitches*

By and large, the Celebration of Spring is the main reason I want to see the movie. If that scene is left out, they will have wasted their time.

I wonder if when Covenant says "Nom" in the movie will make the hair stand up on the back of my neck like in the book. Amazingly powerful.

And right now, all of film 10 would thrill me, although I would want to know what happened in parts 8 and 9.

The scene in The Wounded Land where they're in Crystal Stonedown and Covenant stumbles into the middle of the village meeting delirious with venom. After Linden invokes Joan's name and Covenant cuts loose, for some reason I had this vivid scene pop into my head of Covenant screaming Joan's name and this blinding column of argent engulfing him and shooting into the clouds above. Meanwhile, everyone around him are down on the ground shielding their eyes as the force from Covenant blows against them like near-hurricane winds, while at the same time the ground just seems to stretch, or enlongate under their feet towards Covenant. Just another indication of how the trancendentally powerful White Gold is not bound by Law or limits. Not to mention how Covenant overwhelmingly defeats the Rider and destroys his Rukh with such embarrassing ease that it requires barely a concious thought.
Since this is the first significant display of power by Covenant in TWL, it would be extremely interesting to see Linden, Sunder, and Hollian's reaction to such overwhelming might.

Simply put Vain. The time he comes to covenants aid for the first time and explodes the hearts of the attackers, mmm, tasty and then of course when he finally speaks. His fight with the urviles etc etc.....
