Blazing Saddles is not only a great spoof of westerns, but also a great commentary on racism and prejudice. You don't believe me? Ask Lilly Vonn Schtupp, she'll tell you it's twue!

Blazing Saddles and History of the World - Part 1
are the best Mel Brooks' folms IMO.

('Scuze me while I whip this here thing out!)
And who could forget "Piss-boy"?

Blazing Saddles remains one of the greatest films of all time.

THis must be a first and a sign of the Apocalypse. To get to Mention Lily Von, in two seperate threads on the same day ?????

Either you have been awaiting this moment for a very long time <say desperate> or were just increduously lucky <go buy a lotto ticket >

But I too am a great admirer of these films, Men in Tights being the drawback .
Yes I guess we can all just get along !

Blazing Saddles is definitely my favorite of them all.

"What's your crime?"

"Stampeding cattle."

"That's not much of a crime."

"Through the Vatican?"

"Kinky! Sign here."

I particularly enjoyed the campfire scene with all those cowboys eating beans. Very realistic portrayal.
