In today's news: Parliament has announced wide-ranging restrictions on fields of study and academic pursuits. Many disciplines such as archaeology, anthropology and psychology are now technically illegal. On a lighter note: a resolution has been passed which will remove particular words from all published dictionaries and prohibit their use in public conversation, because they are "frivolous and unnecessary" - the forbidden words include 'poetry', 'rhyme' and 'onomatopoeia'.

Little did they care that their reprehensible manager had made off with last months’ receipts and was even now climbing the hills of the next province. Before my hunger could intensify further, I took a break from Mallory. I absentmindedly cut a wedge of quark to have with my baguette. Blissfully unaware of the cheese's state of microbial abundance, I was shocked when my stomach suddenly decided to manumit its contents.

The boys at baseball camp couldn't help but notice Barry Bond's hypocrisy as he told them to stay away from steroids. Some were floored by the incredulous notion that he was not a user. If these boys follow in Bond's path, it could be apocalyptic for Major League Baseball.

When Evenessence took the stage, the audience gratefully forgot the opening band. The lead singer’s voice soared, and a stage hand close to the speakers noticed a sudden fracture in his beer mug. Some technical wizardry had amplified the vocal quality to vibrate deep within the thick porcelain.

Some of the offspring of the Viles kept to themselves, while others were a magnet to the manipulations of Lord Foul.
