Properly played, the Sentence Game is a thing of challenge and beauty. I've been thinking about setting up a place where it can be played in its pure form. If I get five votes from people who want to meet the challenge of turning out sparkling entries within the laid-out guidelines, I'll do it.

I too would prefer the participants in this thread to follow the rules. I don't think we can blame the discrepancies on the lack of adulthood. Many other threads have lost their original zeal, many from the actions of a (supposedly) grownup.

You know I would Love to have this stepped up a notch and reutrned to the heart of the game.(that's an AYE here also.)

rebuttal affirmation gregarious
Upon offering a rebuttal of pure genious, the deffence lawer returned to her seat in the courtroom, with a slight indignity in her walk. Knowing that her client was completely guilty of the crime he was accused, this case was just an affirmation of the thoughts that have been darkening her mind as of late. Although people in her proffesion were quite gregarious, she now decided that she will stand out on her own, and not take a case when she's knows the deffednant has committed the crime.
(please excuse any spelling errors..I'm at work without a dictionary)

It would be utter absurdity to deny that the Wightwarrens were responsible for the defilement of the Soulsease. The continuous mixing of vile effluent with the river as it flowed through the catacombs soured it beyond all hope of health. The clean water was no match for the opulence of dark lore.

The sulfurous clouds overhead lent an ominous alien tang to the ketone exhausts of the Vivyx Assembly. Corpuscle upon corpuscle, the synthoids were constructed in the likeness of innocuous-seeming Terran blooms. Dr. Schmidt watched Daisy's face tense and stretch as the transference of her anger from herself to him began. Daisy's thoughts, screaming and howling inside her head, held a preponderance of malice toward him, though he had done nothing but try to aid her. The last act of the scrupulous doctor was to smile for Daisy as she lifted the keen blade to his throat.

penance disdain unequivocable
Daisy fell to her knees, as if in penance, into the growing pool of Dr. Schmidt's life. Her mind was still numbed by the transference, but her body shuddered in autonomic disdain, causing her to drop the bloody knife. Her purpose, which seemed unequivocable just moments before, now floundered in a haze of detached horror.

"Pomegranate?", asked the tierd old theologeon do his disruptive apprentice, as she suggested what kind of fruit the tree of knowledge bore. He walked over to her, the gyroations in his pace, casued by his current fatigue, he found quite embaracing, although she seemed not to care about his physicality, only his studious nature. Embrace them though he might, dear Quentin could not master the new horizons before him, despite the efforts of the commune. Mind you, from this latitude, they were never even really going to be visible. The sheep marched on, preaching forbearance as they decimated the ever increasing numbers of the meek who said they weren't really bothered about the Earth, they just wanted the Tea Service and the Grandfather Clock.
"You're reaching, dear boy" said the curtains. He knew whose fault it was for eating that blotter, but experimentation was the key to an invigorating narcotic episode and a taste for hallucinogens of an unconventional alkalinity was nothing if not bold. Really though, in this day and age it's much easier to clench first for safety purposes.

Oswald was two credits shy of his GED, but couldn't grasp the antediluvian concepts needed for his physical sciences essay. It wasn't his fault, he had argued against the essay but the class had voted in plebiscite for the essay rather than an interpetive dance. And Oswald had fledged his grackle costume the week before in preperation for the dance.

Thomas Covenant's faith lay in himself and he took neither halakhah nor aggadah into consideration when looking at his hands. The remaining digits were covered with a light green patina as if he were aglow with illumination from the Illearth Stone. But he realized that it was the result of eating his non-Kosher turbot while leaning against the Statue of Liberty, rather than from having touched the flounder itself.

The new Chemestry proffesser told his class, that this semester would be quite omnifarious, as it would cover many different aspects of the Science.
The students learned that they would have to vacillate between hands on learning, as well as a lot of book studies. Fortunatly, most of the pupils were rapt with the ideas this new age teacher took.

The aharmonic voices of one hundred residents thundered through the streets like an introit honoring their creation. The gnawing frequency, intaglioed with echoes off the building faces, was amplified as it traveled, causing a groundswell that split the roadway and nearly swallowed the singers. From that day forward they would co-opt to build a soundproof concert hall to save themselves from the devastation of their voices.

parabola mince admonish
The pirate traced his broken finger around the map of the narrow cove like a parabola. All the sailers aboard knew that if they disturbed him at this state, he would mince them on the spot. The trouble was; they wanted to admonish his idea of sailing into this inlet, as the keel was badly damaged.

Avarice strychnine azimuth
Montineau cowered in the corner, unable to control the trembling that had a hold of him like the hands of a drowning man, knowing that his avarice drove him into his current state. The small vial of strychnine almost fell from his curled fingers as he lifted it to his mouth. Even now, at the azimuth of his corporate success, he knew that the bargain he had struck would be his downfall.

Driving on the Golden Gate Bridge, the grumpy old man looked for a cantilever on the supports. A scurrilous, and pessimistic man, he loadly cursed the architects and designers. He figured that, disspite all the years in use, that the supports were not tatamount with eachother, and therefore the bridge might collapse.

veldt sacerdotal herbage
Drew and Cail stumbled out of the caesure that had swallowed them while they meandered drunkenly down the street after consuming copious amounts of alcohol with Myste onto a lush veldt during the rainy season. Amid sacerdotal contemplation and quantum physics discussions, Drew noticed a reassuring sight on the grassland. He and Cail prompty rolled a nice fat one from the abundant herbage surrounding them.

After a boring show-and-tell day of kids bringing in items like stuffed animals, dinky cars and the like, Professer Ur-Bane was quite pleased to see the last student with his focilized Tirobite.
