Vain and foamfollower

Post by Warmark »

Foamfollower gained Vain from the urviles. but i thought everyone saw there own dead why did the Urviles see foamfollower?

oh and dont ge me started with the no eyes thing how could they see who they were giving vain to anyway?
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Your Own Dead.

I don't think you see only your own dead...Linden saw Kevin.

The Ur-viles aren't human either-If they had the Lore to create Vain, they deffinatly have the lore to deliver him to one of Covenants Dead.
They probebly saw Caer-Caveral first; he would have understood Vains purpose, and got the ur-viles to give him to Foamfollwer.

Maybe Foamfollower was just a jerk and told the ur-viles that he was someone else.-jay

As a forestal, I wouldn't imagine Caer Caveral would have stood having ur-viles around.
But someone with the insight and knowledge to tell Sunder to kill him so as to break the Law of Death would surely know what to do with something like Vain.
Considering Vain's purpose was to aid in the restoration of the Law, I'd think it would have drawn him its last bastion, and Caer Caveral gave him to Foamfollower.

I don't think that the urviles would need eyes to see who foamfollower was. In the land everyone has the "enhanced sight", so to say, and I think that eyes are just a tool through which this percipience is accessed. The ur-viles seem pretty resourceful. I think that since the didn't have a screwdriver, they just pulled a dime out of thier pocket. Who says eyes are the only tools of sight?

Remember that Foamfollower is also the Pure One. Who better to have charge of Vain

I like the 'jerk' theory jay. It's good stuff. Most of the enigmas of the land can be explained away by the 'jerk' theory.

my thoughts exactly. The jerk impulse would corrupt a whole lot of the land. That's why the ur-viles are so jerky. And the Masters? What jerks! Especially their voice.
Foul's a Jerk, the creator's a jerk. Even the Forestals were all jerks... except troy. Troy was a berk.
