Gradual Interview - STOP!!!!

It might be helpful if people here, who are familiar with the GI thought of a list of some of those frequent questions and sent them to the webmaster, at least so they'd have a start. To require them to read it is not possible, but maybe a link the the submission form would first take you to the FAQ, as a subtle hint. After all, it's not much fun to read the same answer to the same question.

The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.

BTW, don't 'divide' the answers. One answer can belong in several categories. For example, there are some answers about Elohim, and some answers about inspiration, and some answers about Elohim and Inspiration. So you need something more like an index, where answers can be indexed several ways.
And there already is a search capability, and a categories capability, in the GI now.
And, finally, a FAQ is not a way to see if the question is already answered. A FAQ is what it says, "Frequently Asked Questions". It's the Readers Digest Condensed Version of the GI.

I actually think SRD (or maybe Romeo) did a bit of question-sorting. I posted a question (well, it was more of an anecdote) to the GI in, like, June, and it showed up in the GI at the end of July. Given that SRD said earlier this year that he was 240+ questions behind...I don't think he could have caught up that fast without weeding out some duplicate queries.
VF, you could PM Romeo with your ideas for making the GI more user-friendly.

Hahahahaha... you're funny. Daily life with my kids is like hearding cats!Wayfriend wrote:Threads are like cats - they never go where you want them to.Usivius wrote:sheesh! Can't anyone take a joke....
Threads are like 18 year old kids - you throw them out and hope they turn out all right.
Threads are like your dad's car - you can start it, but you don't get to steer.
Etc. etc.
Funny thing about the GI... I like the fact that it is there, but honestly the only questions I have are ones he would not answer because it would ruin the story if he did. I only asked one question and that was at Christmas.
If women were in charge, the military would have to do bake sales in order to buy more weapons.
