New Lorestraat objects

copying CovenantJr defend the land thread
if you had been in charge of the Lorestratt what would you have tried to invent along with those communication rods?

some explosive gravling would have been good along with some energy stuff like mhoram gave to the warward.

i think some more *magical* weapons would have been good to counteract the urviles

i wonder if they could have invented some poison to be placed on stakes in the ground and on weapons

i wonder if they could have invented a shield of some sort much like a stronger version of the one callindrill, verement and mhoram made but more perminent and easier to keep
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

The only thing that the Landers, and Lords would probebly permit, would be the Better, stronger Sheild, or Word Of Warning.

Exploding GRaveling-Do you think they'd blow up stones?

Placeing poison in the Earth?

The problem there, Warmark, was that the Loresratt was not searching for invention, but understanding.
They were studying Kevin's Lore, trying to understand that which eluded them within the Wards. The translation alone was tiresome because they had lost the language of the Old Lords.

The only reason the lomillialor rods were created was because Hile Troy requested a swift means of communication over long distances.
And, to be perfectly honest, I think the Lords and Loresratt made a mistake in creating something not easily used by Troy, Amorine and Quann.
Mhoram had told Troy that the rods were meant to be used by the Lords, and therefore the Lords decided where they should be. It was almost counterproductive, and to me, didn't fit the type of communication Troy really wanted and needed.

I wonder if Quann had one if things would have been different.

Back to topic, though, the Loresratt would not search for invention when their purpose was "cracking the Wards."

"Hey, dad," croaked the vulture, "what are you eating?"
"Carrion, my wayward son."
"Will there be pieces when you are done?"

Perhaps things would have gone better if they could have asked the Waynhim for help earlier. Can you imagine the Lore they could have shared?

Vitrim, baby! Let's see Fleshharrower freak out Revelstone when everyone's sipping back a cool, musty can of Diet Vitrim! It's the taste that preserves!
