For what it's worth, I thought it was great...(everyone has there own impressions when they read)...My impressions:

TC--doesn't he wear his ring on his halfhand during the 2nd chrons?

Pitchwife--I think his mirth was captured nicely, but he should look a litttle
wiser, and less silly.

The First--I figured her to be a little more...Full Figured, but her grave
expression is there.

Linden--I Like the shirt!! :P :P

Vain--Pretty much bang-on.

Brinn--Not bad, I always figured the Haruchai to be darker complected
Kind of East-Indian looking.

-Is there any more of these around?
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

The picture captures the stark atmosphere of the Wounded Land very well, I think.
The picture captures Thomas Covenant extremely well.

In my mind, Covenant is a little older looking,
Pitchwife a bit less comical-looking,
Linden looks like a teeny-bopper here,
and I picture Brinn with dark-colored hair.

But that is what my mind's eye sees when reading the Chronicles.
To each of their own, right?

Other than that, great pix!
Have you hugged your arghule today?

yeah...TC looks a little too much like Billy Bob Thornton on crack after after a brain anerysm for my taste....
Think on that, and be dismayed

Some people say that it doesn't make a difference, but I say it's the difference that makes it...

Dromond wrote:That's an awesome pic! But I've got one bitty little problem with it- nah' -never mind I don't wanna say it----well' I guess I got to now. Brinn doesn't look very erm, uh, manly in that RED DRESS! I had to scroll down to see if he had matching pumps! 8O
Actually, I agree - it's a terrible get-up for someone who expects to whirl into hand-to-hand combat at a moment's notice. I always pictured sleeveless tunic and loose black pants.

LMAO!! Absolutely, he does!

Personally, I like the artistry, but hate the renditions. Not even close to my mind's paintings.

To me, Brinn looks more like the way I pictured Chant.
The First is absolutely awful- her legs are too long (as said before--what's with the Jolly Green Giant-wife hair?), and she does not portray strength in her posture or build. I never pictured Pitchwife as an ogre--where is the kindness in his face?, and Linden didn't strike me as one to flaunt herself.
Covenant....well, he looks more like a grown up version of the kid from Jerry Maguire than the Covenant I painted in my head.

But that's just my opinion.
