I just bought a new rod !
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

I used to enjoy fishing.

After we took up SCUBA, I discovered it's alot more fun to play with 'em! :D

Halfway down the stairs Is the stair where I sit. There isn't any other stair quite like it. I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top; So this is the stair where I always stop.

The water below the dam close to my house is cold enough to support rainbow trout, its not really fair catching the ignorant, farm raised little guys(I live in Alabama,so trout fishing is a novelty)as they readily bite such silly things as corn kernals and power bait. But they sure are tasty with a little butter, some garlic, and lemon juice.

The lake where I fish has no fish in it. I just sit out in a boat, with a pole, and do nothing all day. :) It's fun, in a Zen-y sorta way.

I have always liked to fish. We had a pond at the end of our street growing up. we used to "make our own fishing poles" and my brother used to have me bait his hook. (He didn't like to squish the worms...) Now my kids like to fish. It's a relaxing sport with a great view!
And your right Cheval, there is nothing like eating fish caught fresh!
I got a great recipe - I will look it up and share.
