Only a few have seen it, yes, but the majority of reviews have been positive (even gushing). Check it out!

It's still too early to say; more reviews are needed.

What any of them say is irrelevant. I'll tell you if it's good or bad!
All lies and jest
Still a man hears what he wants to hear
And disregards the rest

Here's a solution - wait til I see it, then I'll tell you whether to see it or not. Not being a big Star Wars fan, I'll be an impartial judge of the film. You don't mind waiting til it's on TV, right? ;)

Just found out that all theaters in my area are sold out for the midnight showing. We're investigating going out of town.

Damn Star Wars nerds, buying up all the seats and keeping serious fans like myself from seeing the midnight showing......there oughta be a law!

You must hate it that me, not a fan, was given a free ticket for the midnight showing. ;)

I dunno. They were all correct about Battlefield Earth.

Heh. Well, I'm going to see it as soon as possible (not midnight, though--that's nuts).

A vague acquaintance just posted this on his band's forum:
Mel and I got tickets to a special screening of 'Star Wars III' and saw it this morning.

It's amazing. Such a relief as the first two prequels were hit and miss.
Simon usually has decent taste, so hopefully all will be well.

Nah - I'm not worried about you guys across the pond. ;)

We're set - my buddy and I are meeting at his house and driving to Nashville for the 12:02 am showing - we have our advance tickets through Fandango. It will be a 3 hour drive for me.

Bah! What do you know? ;)

I'll be seeing it Friday night. It's the first chance we can all go together, and it would break my sons' hearts were I to go see it at midnight after work, when they couldn't. 8)

Midnight wouldn't be so bad... but a three hour drive? For a movie?

My friend and I saw Eps. I and II at the midnight showing when we were both still in school/residency in Memphis. It's become something of a tradition, I suppose. We'll make an evening of it (he'll be away from his wife so he'll drink beer.) It'll be fun!

I think you're forgetting that in many parts of America it's a three hour drive to the shops ;)

No, 93 is very good! 60 or above means it's "fresh", rather than "rotten".
