Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Post by Alynna Lis Eachann »

Looks like the PotC sequel is a go: www.imdb.com/title/tt0383574/

Hah, I was right! Boostrap Bill Turner will be in this one. I knew there was no way they could let that storyline go unresolved. Then again, maybe it'll all be just flashbacks.

Is Stellan Skarsgård a good Boostrap? I think he's got the perfect look for it.

Didnt they say that Kieth Richards was going to be appearing in this? He being who Johnny "based" his character on etc. or do you think he is an uncredited guest appearence? I remember them saying he would play Cap'n Jack Sparrow's Father.

Haven't heard one way or the other, but if this has a father/family theme in the mix, I could see him in a flashback. Don't know, though... Jack seems too much of an original to me, regardless of where Depp actually got the moves from. I think it would undercut that if his father was portrayed as having a similar character.

Heh. I guess this sequel was to be expected, after the success of the first. Hopefully it'll be as much fun as the first one was. Hopefully it won't just be another lame sequel, heh.-jay

Yeah, I think I heard around the time you posted the first link that they were filming two sequels.

Where's Keira Knightley? How come she is only in the third movie? Does that jerk Orlanda go off with some other girl in the second one and come crying back to her once he finds out that his new girlfriend was a ghost or something in the third movie?
