I fixed your spelling, dear. ;) And added my own option.... :| ;)

Out of those people, I think Hagrid, maybe....I've heard people talking about it being Neville, but he's about as pure-blooded as they come.... :?

I say a new character... Rowling's already said it's not Harry or Voldemort. Or did she say it's not Draco? *shrug*

I didn't vote, as I don't know how to add an option.

I don't know why, but I keep thinking Lee Thomas, the black dorm mate of Harry, Ron, and Neville, is a possibility. Didn't he say his father is Muggle?

Dean Thomas. Lee is the twins' friend. It's a possibility, but he hasn't figured that strongly.

:::nodding:::

Yes, Dean Thomas is who I mean. Not figuring prominently is why I think that, like he's descended from African royalty or some such, and doesn't know about it until a coming of age ceremony comes upon him from the Muggle world.

I just had this idea the other day... what if the Half-Blood Prince is a reference to a member of the Wizarding World's royalty? They have a Ministry, like Muggle Britain, but Muggle Britain was originally a full-fledged monarchy. What if the Wizarding world was, too, and its royalty now holds a status similar to Muggle royalty?

Think about it... the tune for "Weasley is Our King" in OotP had to come from somewhere, and I don't see the pure-blood Wizarding world singing "God save the Queen" for a Muggle.

Heh, I'm probably wrong, but if this storyline is something JKR's been considering since Chamber of Secrets, then why not?

Indeed. I do like who it turned out to be, though. Well done, Jo.
