Having now watched the second half:

This is so bad, it's not vaguely amusing, even in an ironical sense. It's just so crap it's embarrassing. Even the animated sequence is horrible.

...and don't get me started on 'guest-starring Beatrice Arthur'.

It really puts it all into perspective, doesn't it? I mean, people who say the prequels are horrible haven't seen the freaking Holiday Special.
