My picture is better than your picture game

Post by Worm of Despite »

Rules: First person posts a picture. Can be any picture. Second person posts a picture. Can be any picture. A third random person--can be anybody--replies and says which picture is better. The judge's criteria for what "better" constitutes is completely up to the judge.

Whoever wins can post the next picture, or, if you're tired or lazy, someone else can post the next picture--unless you're the loser from the last game, that is. At the end of the year, the person with the longest winning streak will win a super special prize (yeah right).

Reminder: if the picture you want to post is not hosted, use a place like Image Shack, rather than taking up KW's bandwidth. If you don't have/can't find a photo, try Google Image Search.

Okay. Ready, set, go!

Halfway down the stairs Is the stair where I sit. There isn't any other stair quite like it. I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top; So this is the stair where I always stop.

This is one of my favorite photos. It was taken during the last mission of the space shuttle Columbia.
The sun is setting over Europe and Africa. Click to enlarge.

id like to join in with this game,
how do you post a pic though?
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.

The image must be hosted. (See the Avatar Sizes thread.)

To then post the image, wrap it in

Code: Select all

tags.

I can picture this thread eventually taking forever to load, so the smaller the image, the better.

You can link it to the larger image like so:

Code: Select all

<img width="xxx" height="xxx" src="URL of Large Image">
The "xxx" is the width and height in pixels of the image you will actually see in your post.

You can also obtain the same result by using a graphic editor (such as Photoshop) to downsize your original image, and then upload both the large and small images to a host.

Then link like so:

Code: Select all

Loremaster wins! I would've chosen the earth photo, but I've seen it too many times.

Got this picture of MrKABC as I was peeking through his window last night. He was delighted to see me, and I fled in terror.

Edit: the backs of the t-shirts read, 'godhatesamerica.com', which should count for bonus 'irony' points.

As the third person, you have to judge the previous two pictures and state which is better, Warmark.

Eh, scratch the rule about whoever wins can post next. They can, sure, but the nature of the game makes it easier if we just let people post by "first come, first serve" rules.

Easily, the goat beats out the angelfire-logo-looking-person. (Your image is not showing up on my browser, Mr.K.) :?

The following is hilarious, but a bit rude,
so I decided to black it out in the actual post:
