Big Fish

Big Fish

Quite simply, you don't see movies like this very often. It's charming, and I don't believe I've ever called a movie charming. It's Tim Burton (and there's a scene almost straight out of Edward Scissorhands), so it's not exactly cute even if there are some cheesy moments. It's not the bad, typical hollywood kind of cheese, though, so don't feel too bad if you walk out of the theatre with a few tears.

I liked this film, if it was a little weird.
My small cousin was not impressed by the lack of screentime recived by the actual BIG FISH.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Full of the heavens and time.

I really liked Big Fish. It's a lot of fun to watch, entertaining. I can say that I usually never tear up during a movie, but that one usually gets me.-jay

It'd be nice if more Hollywood fil makers concentrated on films like this. Films that are enjoyable and entertaining to watch. Instead of the piles of tripe that are usually put forth into theaters.

I liked it too, but felt that it was not given the proper treatment it deserved. I admire Burton, but not on the same level as, say, Terry Gilliam... Can you imagine what this movie would have been like in the hands of Gilliam?! wow...
