I don't care what movie you're in line to see, go see Cinderella Man.

It just opened, so I'm not going to say anything more yet, to avoid spoilers.

Yep, it takes guts to put an obvious multiple-Oscar movie on in the summer. But Gladiator succeeded that way, and Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Miramax show a heartwarming faith in Cinderella Man.

(so do I)

I hated the song......well, not hated, actually; but it certainly was the worst song on "A Farewell To Kings"......okay, most of you probably didn't know Cinderalla man was a Rush tune, but I haven't seen the movie yet.

Which DVD is that, Dennis? I missed the TV appearance, sadly. And what is the name of the new album?

www.gruntland.com/tofog.htm

New Russell Crowe Album "My Hand, My Heart" available for full download on iTunes and Sanity.com.au

The 'Texas' DVD is a multi layered disc with 8 levels of music, videos and photographs to discover about TOFOG. But to discover all the hidden features and bonus footage may take you a little while, so here's some info to get you started in you investigation of Gruntdom …

STUFF ABOUT SOUNDSTAGE
The Soundstage episode featuring 30 Odd Foot of Grunts will air during the Second Season of Soundstage, which begins on local public television stations in June of 2004. WTTW11 (the producing station) will begin airing Soundstage Season 2 with Fleetwood Mac on June 17 at 9:00 p.m. Since every public television station airs Soundstage on different days and at different times, in order to find out when a Soundstage episode will air on a particular station you should either call your local PTV station directly, in the late Spring, or to keep checking the airdate checker at www.pbs.org/soundstage. Click on "airdates" and scroll down to the bottom of the page and select your state...all of the PTV stations carrying the show should list on your screen with their airdates and times. It's still too early for any info to be posted on the airdate checker regarding season 2, so you might want to check it again in late Spring.

Thank you, Dennis. I never could figure out the hidden features on the Texas DVD, so I just watch the feature. I'll save this for when I connect up with somebody who really knows computers.

Great film--I've decided that's how I'm going to get back in shape--if I can only figure out where to hang the heavy bag... 8) Jethro's dad: Max Baer was a monster in his time.

Finally saw this movie over the weekend. It was really well done. I wasn't up on the boxers from that era, so I didn't know how far Braddock would go. I thought Howard did a good job balancing Braddock's personal issues with his comeback as a boxer.

Yeah, from what I understand Jethro has spent some time defending his father. In the film Max Baer is depicted as a real bastard who virtually brags about killing a boxer in the ring.

www.markdroberts.com/htmfiles/resources ... llaman.htm

Max Jr. insists that the portrayal of his father as an unrepentant murderer in the ring is wrong. According to Max Jr.: "My father cried about what happened to [Baer ring victim] Frankie Campbell. He had nightmares. He helped put Frankie's children through college."
