Post by Reisheiruhime »

Well.... I guess there was that time when the ice cream glowed in the dark.

What's your weirdest food experience?

I have tasted snails and frogs legs.....they both tasted like chicken. :)

I got this new brand of cat food and my husband ate it thinking it was a new variety of sardines. 8O

Squid's not so bad Duchess. It has to be cooked just right though or else it will go rubbery. :)

The squid I had was rather gross. It was breaded like chicken then deep fried -- so the outside was crunchy and the inside was rubbery. :? I will never try it again...a complete turnoff. :?

Ha ha, You're all lightweights. If it can crawl across a road I've tried it or been offered some. That's a slight equivication. However I have tried rattlesnake, possum stew, and some fantastic buffalo meat.

Who said they weren't pets? That stew was made from my possum, Speedy. If only he was just a little faster...

Yeah I suppose you're right. Eating dog is a strictly cultural thing. Most simply can't see wasting all that viable protein on barking and chasing things.

I love my dog.
