I,ve been watching the Hyde Park version today, a good line up. plus PINK FLOYD!!
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
Full of the heavens and time.

To my recollection, they began with Breathe, then Money, Wish You Were Here, and Comfortably Numb. I think that was it, but there might be more. Wish You Were Here was amazing, because at the beginning, Roger said over the microphone something like: "This is such an emotional moment for me to be up here with these guys!" It was great. So was their playing too. Very soulful and great sound.

Well, I'm glad they went with it. It's a nice opener, I think; it opens Dark Side of the Moon, after all
. Personally, I'd be kind of disappointed if all they had played were the predictable 70s hits (Money, etc.) I mean, they did play them, and that's expected, but I think it's nice they put a little variation in the set list by sticking Breathe in. One of my favorite Floyd songs, it!

I started watching the VH1/MTV coverage. I made it about an hour and got disgusted with it. I saw 8 minutes of music, but not a single complete song. I saw a bunch of comercials, and a lot of 20-something boneheads jabbering about how cool and how important the concert was.

dlb,
Yes I love "Time" as well, but two songs from Dark Side was probably enough.
Cail,
Yeah, the MTV/VH1 people were dumbasses. Like my dad said, they should have had more people that understood the issues, not just people repeating the same crap over and over again. Plus, they should have shown ummm more music?! Ugh.
