Speaking of chess, Sky, did you ever get a game with my son, Shlomo?

He actually went to the website you suggested, and has gotten into a few games with people he met at the site.

And he spent part of his vacation studying chess problems while we were driving in the car...

oh damn it .. i forgot to initiate a game with shlomo .. but from your description mayhap it was a sign .. he sounds like he will wipe the floor with me ..

its quite fun to take on a number of games at the same time .. as some of us .. dont make regular moves and that can drag the game out quite long ..

lol .. i myself am prone to getting caught up in r.l.

if you want to initiate a game .. do so but be sure not to select the within 30 days per move option .. its a pain to lose just because you didnt get to the game within a given time .. even if it is 30 days!!!

let us know your itsyourturn nic .. so we can invite you for a game or as soon as you register .. just invite us to play you ..

it'll be fun!! .. and i will go check what shlomo's nic is .. and do the same .. i should be shot!! my memory is up the creek!!

Hello, everyone! My name is SHLOMO (yes, in all caps) and I WANNA PLAY CHESS!!!

Skyweir showed me itsyourturn.com...it's a great site. Even though I'm currently 1-3 on it. However, that record is one very educating chess book ago, so I should be ready to go now.

oh my god .. :O .. having never read a chess book in my life .. methinks winGing a game is not gonna work in my favour .. not that that strategy has done me any good generally
