Kant tells Plato that in order for human beings to interpret the world the human mind has to first impose structure on the incoming sensory input. Plato tells Kant not to waste his time, since the world of experience is illusory anyway. They shake hands in a temporary truce, and Plato invites Kant over for a drink. They were last seen continuing their argument, sinking ever deeper into a philosophical morass and getting wasted from their drinking.
