Artwork

Post by Lord-Fatherer »

Hello,

I'm new here. I've been a huge fan of the TC series since I was a kid. I'm currently re-reading The Wounded Land, and enjoying it immensely. One of my interests is in collecting comic art, which got me wondering about the art created for this series. My favorite covers are all by Darrell K. Sweet. I've found out that all of the covers have been sold, and was wondering if anyone on this list knew who the current owners might be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Be True, Unbelievers!

Great question, but I'd honestly have no idea where to start. Perhaps send an email to Del Rey (they actually respond quite promptly) asking for the number of the artist's agent. That's the only guess I have.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try. Where did you get that icon you use (green, leafy face)?

It's an avatar. You can go to your profile and at the bottom of the page, there's the avatar-look-for thingamajig. Happy hunting! :D

I wasn't really looking to find an avatar for myself, it's just that the one in question looks very similar to a mask that a friend of mine makes.

It took me a rather prodigous amount of searching (google's advanced image search) to find this picture. It's actually a picture of the Green Man.

Ah, yes. Excellent stuff. I remember seeing this site in my search.
