Hey, I just got tired of not having read the Man Who books, and found all of them on Amazon and bought them. According to what the descriptions say, the first three are re-released, expanded hardback versions. That may mean more chapters; I don't know. Anyway, they were way cheaper than the original three paperbacks, and thought they are more than the omnibus copy, I wanted them as individual books so I bought those. Two should be here by thursday, and the other two on August 31. If I like the service this place provides, I'll pre-order Runes from them. Long story short, I may be able to do some reads on the third and fourth books in the series.

Nice, dANdeLION. We're hoping to gather together a group of sure participants, before we start the next book. I'm guessing that means, when the group read of RUNES is done. ;)

In the meantime, I'm very glad to hear you are going to be reading them. There is a thread for each book, when you feel moved to comment. :D

This won't start until AFTER Runes is done? Wow; you can definitely count me it then! I already have "TMW Risked His Partner", and it's only a matter of shipping until the others arrive.

Oh, good, dAN. You have what may be my favorite SRD book. Did you read where he said recently (GI July 8 ) that in FOUGHT, he tried for the first time to write a book based on his own experience?

However Ive been informed that there are 4 books in the series!!!!!!!!! :x
Now I have to look for the other 3 .... and of course I have to read them!!!!!

There are just not enough hours in the day or days in a lifetime!!!!! :?

Once RUNES has been dissected, I have been asked, what do we dissect next? It makes sense to return to dissecting the MAN WHO books at that point, before taking on THE GAP.

So everybody, start collecting your MAN WHO series now. :)

I now have:

THE MAN WHO KILLED HIS BROTHER
THE MAN WHO RISKED HIS PARTNER
THE MAN WHO FOUGHT ALONE

I expect THE MAN WHO TRIED TO GET AWAY next week. I am abit miffed that THE MAN WHO KILLED HIS BROTHER came, but is a paperback, when I am sure I ordered all of them in Hardback.

Hey, two of those books, THE MAN WHO KILLED HIS BROTHER & THE MAN WHO FOUGHT ALONE, are available at Barnes & Nobles in HARDBACK for $4.99, and $5.99, respectively. I have always wanted hardback copies of these books, and now I have them all (but the one not out yet). Now to get Runes.....

My reaction to setting up the next group read is: "Agh!" I am overwhelmed with projects, even though my part in the Anthology is nearly done.

Is there someone else who would like to take on scheduling THE MAN WHO RISKED HIS PARTNER? dAN, you have seemed to enjoy organizing MORDANT.

Joy, no rush to get started. Any group reads can certainly wait until you feel a bit less harried. 8)
