Watched "The Rundown" on Saturday. A reasonably entertaining action-comedy flick to pass an hour and a half with, if nothing else.

Hitchhikers', Buffy, Austin City Limits (Featuring Stevie Ray Vaughn), Blues Brothers 25th anniversary edition, and Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy. Sam Rockwell is freaking hilarious!

Just finished with season six of Buffy. I got bored of Buffy after season five was on tv, so I'm way behind. A friend lent me season six because she thinks I look like Warren (I do, a bit) and now I'm getting back into the flow. Spike is truly great.

Because it's near halloween, I'm on a horror movie phase.

Over the last two weeks I watched The Grudge, House on Haunted Hill, and Halloween (which I just bought).

I also bought and watched Batman Begins on Thursday (and since it has the theme of fear, I guess that counts in the halloween thing).

Within the week I definitely plan on watching Shaun of the Dead and I may squeeze in another movie or two (probably Scream)

As part of the Halloween warm-up we watched The Amityville Horror remake--nice and freaky, considering I've never seen the original. This was the movie that started all "the specific time in the night when freaky things happen" movies--what is up with that!>? :P Turned in Sahara--so never really watched it...(hey we need a "Scary Movie" thread!)

The ending of Omen III has always made me go: Huh?

To get into the Halloween spirit, I watched Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow again. I usually don't care for Burton's films, but this one is undeniably great. I think it's still Burton's best work. I admire how Burton successfully turned Sleepy Hollow into something much bigger and deeper than the original version. Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci have beautiful chemistry together.

I am on the first of the two sixth seasons of Sex and the City. Apparently half of the cast was pregnant while they were filming the fifth season, which was only a few episodes due to the pregnancies. So they filmed two sixth seasons to make up for it, and aired them a few months apart. I am on the first one. :)

Glory. The night before that, Dances with Wolves. The night before that, Dances with Wolves. Yeah, twice. Apparently PBS was ran it every night this weekend.
