Im optimistic about what this new Staff will be able to do. Heres my theory regarding the new Staff. LA the Healer and Sun-Sage as Caamora said, created it. Along w/the wild magic, it might be able to have extra powers. Healing powers, anyone? Healing the broken laws?

thats right about the new staff .. perhaps it will usher in new lore .. not Kevins old lore .. but something completely different .. and more suited to the new Land .. so to speak ..

but if the Earth will be destroyed in the end, then all Laws will be broken...
wait, what if TC is not only LF himself, but also the Creator at the same time? and, seeing, that he became Lord Foul, terrible and vile, fouling that what he loves and has fought for, he assumes the role of the Creator and destroys the Land along with his LF self?

WOW!! .. he sounds like one sick bunny!! Multiple personality syndrome sufferer .. each of his personalities conflicted with the other (TC LF and The Creator) .. a very destructive mix indeed ..

but I like that parrallel existence thing .. its a very popular premise   :P lol

ttfn

I dont think Covenant is LF or the Creator, hes an alloy of human and wild magic....so hes just Covenant. He doesnt display the charectiristics of either of the"gods of the Land", because hes so unique. Covenant being Berek, Ill buy, but not LF.

I must agree that Covenant could not be "all " powerful. He ahd his limitations, yes the white gold was all powerful, but all it could do was destroy the earth and set Foul free. It could not bring the creator down and beat him, Heck it could not Utterly destroy Foul, this is something that should be touoched on more in another topic.

I don't believe TC can have that big of a role in the 3rd chron's. Even with the Law Of Death broken, the dead have only appeared as spectors, or ghosts, not really able to take action in the living world. (unless the were compelled by some other force : Kevin by hl Elena in TIW, Elena by a Raver in TPTP.

And if the Law Of Death, is restored, that would put TC completely out of the picture.

Whoa, wait a minute. Covenant will definitely play a major role. Hes way more powerful then Elena, and there may be a less powerful LF to challenge him.

Elena was NOT possesed by a Raver. LF did not trust his servants (Ravers) enough to have access to the Staff o' Law. Throughout TCTC it is said that they would (probably) challenge LF if they could.

and TC would have 2 play a role bcoz he is the white gold. even tho LA will b the ringthane bcoz she was given the ring freely by TC, he is the wild magic personified, so any use of it 4 something big like defeating LF again would include him.

i also think that the lore of the new land will have its beginnings in kevins lore. sunder & hollian have the SoL, and the first 3 wards r preserved in revelstone. add 2 this the fact that hollian spent time among the dead, and as is mentioned in WGW, learned something from the experience.

they r in fact in a similar postion 2 the first new lords after the desolation. almost no knowledge of lore. however, the new lords had the giants with the first ward 2 teach them, & they were never influenced by the sunbane. on the other hand, hollian & sunder have 3 wards, and the new SoL. so they r starting @ the same place, with some advantages & some disadvantages meaning that the lore of the new land will be similar to that of the lords, but affected by the new SoL, by the lack of true historical knowledge, & by the personal experiences of the new lands leaders.
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.
