watched Batman Begins (which i thought was really good with the exception of that girl who played rachel, ick, who was she?) i love Bale!! best batman ever!!
and also watched Kingdom of Heaven. loved it, will probably buy it. total Bridgeburner movie. Bloom and Neeson were really good!!! (and i'm not a big Neeson fan, didn't think he was as good in Batman Begins) Orlando Bloom is now officially on my marriage list!!

you're more advanced than a cockroach,
have you ever tried explaining yourself
to one of them?
~ alan bates, the mothman prophecies
i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

Rented Lawrence of Arabia, loved it, bought it. Bought that new version of Goodfellas; the old one was the kind that you had to flip over in the middle of the movie.
Finally completed my LOTR trilogy by buying the Extended Edition of the Two Towers. Already watched disc 1 of the movie; will continue with disc 2 sometime soon. Can't wait to see the 2 DVDs of extra features, as well!

Ha ha, yes. "In order to make an apple pie, Mr. Anderson...." By the way, Lore: if you liked Cosmos, you'd probably love the Mechanical Universe series.Loremaster wrote:Carl Sagan's Cosmos. Is it just me who thinks this, but did Hugo Weaving borrow Sagan's style of speaking for playing Agent Smith?
52 episodes, 28 minutes each. The entire series is at learner.org; can watch it all for free.

Just watched Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Simple review: monumental trash. How the hell did Atlantis fall into the Earth's core and remain in good condition? And how did the Dinosaurs survive the fall? And how did the characters manage to reach the core so fast?
And just watched Downfall - a German movie about Hitler's last 4 days . . .MASTERPIECE! And also watched Conspiracy (about the Nazi's final solution) which was exceptional. Even had Colin Firth in it (finest performance of his career).

rented three two nights ago
Star Wars Sith
the Island
War of the Worlds
SIth had some nice scenes. dragged way too much. Lucas can do action, but seems to forget that we want more of it. the battles were nice.
the Island was good, b movie stuff. great highway scene. knew where it was going the entire time, but mindless fun. and Scarlett is great in whatever movie she is in.
War of the Worlds was also good. some great action sequences, but the cellar dragged on forever. blah-blah-blah.

Just watched The Island-not bad, but reminded me too much of Coma and Logan's Run.
Also saw The Dukes of Hazzard-dumb like the TV show, so I liked it.
