Bending at the waist, knees locked. Heels remain in contact with wall.

This was one of the "sobriety" tests that an officer did to me when I got a D.U.I. in 1982.
I thought back then that it was unfair!
(And I was not drunk. 2 beers in about 1 1/2 hours time.)
The officer even told me that the reason I was pulled over was because my car fit a description of another vehicle that he was looking for.
Have you hugged your arghule today?

No, I can't come close to doing this. I wouldn't be surprised if this one truly is impossible for people. Since the wall prevents anything counterbalancing the bending forward, there's no way to maintain balance.

Now, if somebody could bend like a snake, so their head could go down the body, remaining in contact with the chest and belly... But I've never seen that even in any "Circus Freaks" show.

The karate master I saw do this seem to keep his hands behind his legs as he slowly bent at the wasit and reached the back of his foot. He then slowly touched the his toes; fingers move to back of his foot and then slowly stood.

Must be some way of changing his center of gravity!

Obviously the length of your feet plays an all important role as well. Sideshow Bob would have no trouble doing it
