i keep trying to think of somebody i'm ashamed to like but i can't come up with anybody... :?

I'm ashamed to say I like that song by Kylie Minoque, Can't Get You Out Of My Head. Heard it at a restaurant very recently and my first thought was, "Damn, why did I delete my MP3 of this?" :oops: Usually something so infelicitously catchy would fall under my slush radar, but, heh, some Beatles and XTC tunes can be just as poppy.

She's 28 years old now and she still reminds me about it sometimes
just to "rub it in". (Usually around my friends. :oops: )

my embarassment is that I still like America & Bread & ELO and everything from the 70's...
I was a self-proclaimed tiny-bopper and if I could get my hands on a Defranco family CD or even the Osmonds - I would be a happy camper. Gosh I Liked the Carpenters, Michael-Martin-Murphy, Cat Stevens, Boz Scaggs, England Dan & John Ford Colby, and Helen Reddy....
Guess what though Never Did like Michael Jackson from the 80's and after - only when it was him & his brothers...

I still have LPs of The DeFranco Family's Heartbeat, it's a Lovebeat, and Save the Last Dance for Me, as well as The Osmonds The Plan (still my favorite album by them), but no turn table to play them on.

Total Eclipse of the Heart? Except for the fact that it introduced a near-sober Ozzy sounding wonderful, it reminds me too much of Betty Davis eyes. I don't like that one either.

Billy Squier was a Led Zepplin-era Robert Plant wannabe. (IMO of course)

Then he's too 'real' for me. 1970's Eagles/early solo career (around the time of Rocky Mountain Way) had some bright moments, but his habitual drunken stupor (saw him at Metrozoo once and have been turned off ever since) performances have sucked most creativity out of him.
