Dang, lucimay! I'd reworked the Nick/Morn/Angus pic with Keira but left it on my home computer! Will try to bring it in tomorrow, if I'm not too Sawyerised from watching the new series of "Lost" tonight... |N

The only thing that worries me about Keira as Morn is that Keira has no boobage. And Morn supposedly does. :?

Keira has the face for it, but not the acting skills. And, as my gf always says, "She has the body of an adolescent boy!"
Elfgirl wrote:hehe - "grinny" Nick pic is in the making (oh ye of little faith!) or better still -just watch an episode of "Lost" and see if Sawyer isn't Nick! Josh's infamous smirk and southern drawl will definitely convince you!
Gah! An American?! Never!

I'm English. That means all literary characters (except Thomas Covenant and Linden Avery (haha, looks like Jay has put a filter on her name! Just noticed!)) are also English when they speak. Anyway, you can't be a rakish buccaneer with an American accent!

well...that YOUR opinion that she doesn't have the acting skills...I think she DOES or i wouldn't, no matter what she looked like, have suggested her for the role...that's what i made my decision based on, her acting skills, so i blatantly disagree with you on that issue. regarding her body type, i don't care.

If she was ten years younger, I'd say Morn = Jennifer Connelly:

Morn's face was described in TDAGD (and I kid you not) as beautiful but so ideal as to be devoid of all character. Tricia Helfer does that admirably.

Typical Pommy snobbery!

All I say to you Cjr, is WATCH one episode of "Lost", check Josh out as Sawyer and TELL me that isn't Nick Succorso. SRD is a Yank, I reckon he'd be hearing American accents as he writes. And the best drawlers in the world are them danged Confederates! Josh rocks! And he is f**ing hot. If ever a bloke was made to play Nick, he is IT!

And as for you, Lore, just deal with the droolfest. It happens. Especially when pics are posted. ;) Image

I always pictured Nick with olive skin and black hair. I can't remember if I got that from the text or not, but that's what I see.

I look at the bigger picture. I never figured Morn to be either a brunette or a blond - her "pale fragile beauty" came more from a general if ephemeral 'view from afar'. The "Josh as Nick" thing coalesced for me when I saw his character on "Lost" - the WHOLE PACKAGE fit perfectly - at first I'd pictured Nick as a kind of Han Solo gone bad, but when I saw "Sawyer", I saw Nick!

Angus was easy. I pictured a toad with a hairy back.

Michael Chicklis, the guy from The Shield, age him 10 years, add 30 pounds...That's Angus.
