I went swimming for the first time in way too long... only a mile (and way too slowly) but the more I swam the better it felt and it gave me a little confidence that maybe I won't quite drown swimming for Swarthmore, should I be recruited. (Fingers crossed!) So I feel good... healthy.

Pretty bad. I think I've got flu.

My abdominal thing is also giving me gip. Bah. And apparently it'll take 6-8 weeks for the effects of the drugs to kick in.

I'm glad to be home where the network doesn't block bittorrent.

In one of my strangely hyperactive moods. When I came in after riding my bike back home from campus, I found myself pacing back and forth in my room while snacking, rather than sitting down. I keep feeling like I need to do something. I had a craving for some upbeat music, am singing along and dancing (only a tiny little bit) when I get up to do something, and I can't stop eating.
One of those odd days where I just feel restless.

Slept in 'till 8, had a light breakfast, played around on the computer, worked out for 90 minutes, showered, ate PB&J for lunch, futzed around in the garage for a bit, took the Harley out for a spin, ran a couple of errands, am sitting on the computer now, having tacos for dinner (I love tacos), then, to cap it off, I'm gonna have a few beers and watch old Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan movies.

If it were 10 degrees warmer and I could've golfed, this'd be about perfect.

Having a great day. :) My younger son has had a lot of sports injuries this winter and the docs thought he wouldn't be able to wrestle or play soccer until late spring. At one point he had no feeling at all in his knee...

The sports medicine specialist saw him early last week and said he had healed up a lot faster than they expected (ah to be young and superbly fit and healthy! ) and he could start practicing last week, and maybe even wrestle this weekend if his knee didn't bother him.

And so his coaches entered him a very tough middle school tournament today, and he took first place, even though he hasn't been on the mat in something like two months. I do not know who was more surprised or happy about how he did - my kiddo or me. :) And even better - his knee is not bothering him at all. Maybe he can play spring soccer after all. 8)

Hope everything turns out okay, Sgt.

Feeling--awake? Woke up earlier than usual, around 6:50 or so. Eating my traditional oatmeal breakfast. Intend to get a lot of laziness and reading done.

EDIT: it's 10:42. Read a little of my history notes, and now I'm playing Arthur by the Kinks on my surround sound. Was dancing like a madman to "Victoria." Victori-a-a-a-a-a I think I'm gonna eat lunch with my mom, after she gets out of church.

Last day of a four day weekend. I am planning on a peaceful day, though I might head into Ann Arbor and go to one of the gourmet grocery stores. There is this one store that flies in cheese from all over the world. i am the mood to get some really good cheese. 8)

I just got done scrubbing the bathroom (the one we all had uncontrolable diarrhea and vomiting in over Super Bowl weekend) from floor to ceiling. I got rid of all of the nastyness and bad odors. 8)

Now I am going to go get that good cheese. :) I deserve it. 8)
