Yes, but I like to ride roughshod over those opinions that don't agree with mine! :LOLS:

I love being opinionated!

OK, so it's your topic, but you gotta at least back me up in the "Josh as Nick" campaign, after ALL the photoshopping I did! :(

Okay, you have my backing, but I will still say ringwielder made some excellent choices. :D Josh as Nick!

I never said every character  Don't be trouble! ;) I think he made some great casting choices, but I wouldn't say all nor to anyone else here.

Well, unless I get to be the producer of this film, I guess I gotta concede that everyone has imagined "Gap" characters in different guises...

(my Nick just happens to be the best one! :haha: )

hehe, let me know whatcha think! :D

lol...some clever picture editing or some1 has some very poweful friends!

Peter O'Toole for Sixten is a good choice too.

Josh Holloway for Nick? I agree, he's got that dangerous look to him but i confess i havent seen a lot of 'Lost' so i cant judge how he would act in the part (which is far more important than how he would LOOK in the part). Whereas i have seen Farrell and could easily see him as the egocentric, ruthless, charming and ultimately insane Captain Nick.

Thanks - my skills as a Photoshop goddess are often praised (yes, I work as a graphic designer in my day job!)

And let me tell you, as a rabid "Lostie" and freakoid totally in lust With Nick Succorso (just ask anyone here! ;) ) Josh Holloway not only LOOKS the part, but his "Sawyer" character's attitude IS Nick Succorso as he would be if stranded on an island! He's snarky, got a grin that will knock women onto their backs in three seconds flat, can turn from Mr Charming to Mr Deadly in the same amount of time, is disgustingly cool, has a drawwwwl to die for, and is the kind of guy women wanna do and men wanna be! A real honest-to-gosh outlaw...

And oh man, if you see his grin and grimace - SPOT ON!

Mmmmm, I'm biased probably, but when I read Nick and saw Josh in "Lost", the correlation was astonishing.

Know something weird? (besides me that is! duh!) I was thinking how many of the "Lost" cast would be suitable for roles in the "Gap" series!

B'sides the delectable Josh as Nick, Evangeline Lilly would be great as Morn. Feisty Michelle Rodriguez' Ana Lucia as Mikka. Mr Eko as Dolph, and Terry O'Quinn's Locke as Warden Dios.

You know, a new version we could call "Lost... in Space"?

Josh certainly plays the bad boy part very well, my only problem is that he's a smidge too young for Nick as I see him. It would have taken him quite a few years to go from being rescued on the original Captain's Fancy to amassing enough wealth to buy the new one (I think he bought it rather than stole it, I'm not sure though). I pictured someone in their late 30s, whereas Josh looks about 32 to me (he's 36 though).

I still like Cole Hauser though, he looks about the right age (even though he's only 31!) but more importantly he is kind of good looking whilst maintaining something sleazy about himself. I never actually imagined Nick to be that good looking; a big part of his appeal would be his reputation and his percieved resources (his ship and her loyal crew and his supposed fortune). The idea that his reputation makes him more attractive than he really is appeals to me.
