A real-life Jeremiah?

Post by Charles Timewaster »

Here's a story I just found...about an autistic man who's been building complicated structures out of legos. Of course I immediatly thought of Jeremiah, even before I found out that he'd named the structure "Urville".

8O wow! check out the guy's site! Autistic or not, this guy is amazing! I am absolutely humbled by his drawing ability (and I view myself as a comeptant drawerer-erer...er....)

Amazing detail!
Although not the same form of autism as Jerimiah has ... :)

the detail is errr....scary!

i would like to live in Urville.
It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.

I didn't even know sheep ate bananas.

Amazing... absolutely amazing.
Maybe the next step would be the countrysides and surrounding areas.
(This guy draws better than most "artists" that I have seen draw.)
Have you hugged your arghule today?

That's Asperger's Syndrome for you: autistic geniuses.

I don't know too much about it, are they geniueses despite or because of their Asperger's Syndrome? Or does their autism merely make it easy for that inbred intelligence to perpetuate itself?
