Reading group in Chicago

Since January 2006, I've been going to the meetings of a reading group in Chicago, Think Galactic community.livejournal.com/think_galactic. This is the first time ever I've been to a group like this, that meets once a month.

For January the group's readings were two short stories, When it changed by Joanna Russ and Houston, Houston do you read? by James Tiptree Jr. (AKA Alice Hastings) (I already know few other Watch types do not like (or have extreme issues, are not particularly fond of) these two short stories)

For February the reading was Fistful of sky by Nina Hofmann.

For March the reading was Air by Geoff Ryman.

For April the reading is Troll: a love story by Joanna Sinisalo.

For May the reading will be Gift upon the shore by M.K. Wren.

For June the reading will be two short stories, Deep End by Nisi Shawl and Jack by China Mieville.
