Heh, I pop out for one second and look at all of the news. We now know the title for the first book in the Last Chronicles? And snipits of one of the chapters? Heh, why doesn't anyone ever tell me these things? I have a lot of catching up to do. Can anyone sum up what I missed real fast? I need to some of this news on the site.-jay

Danlo and Ringthane attended Bubonicom and got to go a reading done by Stephen R. Donaldson, and to a panel discussion that he was involved in. They both started wonderful threads here in the Thomas Covenant forum about the weekend.
And Fist, if it means so much to you, I might wear a VERY modest two piece, but only if you and Danlo and Damelon, and some of the other guys I know well will dance with me. (My husband isn't into dancing). Unfortunatly, due to the high elevation and my asthma, it'll have to be slow dancing rather than fast dancing...

I went to see SRD at Bubonicon in Albq. NM, I met ringthane (new member) there, and we attended his panel, his read and took photos. We met him afterwords and I gave him an invitation to Elohimfest. This took place the Saturday b4 last. Then I put the pertinent info in the "The News That Sets SRD Fandom on Fire!" thread and uploaded photos to the Member's Gallery. 8) --YOU have to come to Elohimfest Jay! You made it happen! 8O

Albuquerque is at somewhere around a mile above sea level. We asthmatics have to take things slowly and carefully for a few days, until our bodies get a chance to adjust to the elevation.
So if you still want that dance after you meet me, Fist, it'll have to be slow rather than fast. Maybe I can bring my boombox near the pool and play something soft like Ottmar...and dance next to the water under the moon.
