And in Dune Brad Dourif plays the part of Piter DeVries, mentat/assassin/adviser to Baron Harkonnen. It's a great and mysterious movie, Dune, it's like Twin Peaks in Space . Not at all like the book but great anyway...

I MUST SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!! It is well documented that my FAVOURITE TV show of all time was Twin Peaks!!!!!! And I LOVE David Lynch's work.......and space stuff!!!!! Why have I never seen this movie????!!!!!!
Now I have to find someone who has the two-disc DVD set...I'm holding out for the special edition in November, but I can't resist that ROTK preview I've been hearing so much about!

Belive this one or not - I got a mailing from Chrysler Corp selling their new mini-van, pitching it with LOTR-TTT. They gave me a coupon of sorts and all I had to do was go in for a test drive & they will send me TTT DVD, TTT Risk board game and a comp CD with TTT stuff on it - for FREE!!!! How cool is that! Went last night and the salesman just singed off on the thing without taking the test drive!!! Now just have to wait 6-8 weeks for delivery.....
BTW - I did see advertised that they will be showing FOTR, TTT and then ROTK one after the other in theatres - 9 hours of LOTR!!!!!
Here's the LoTR site with a link to find out at which locations the LoTR marathon will be playing. It's playing only 20 miles from where I live and I called yesterday to see how much the tickets were - $30.00. I guess that's not too bad considering it's over 8 hours of movies (they're supposed to be showing the extended versions of the first two movies and then the RoTK preview). Tickets here go on sale at 1:00 PM.
The nearest one to me is over an hour away in the Detroit suburbs...plus it's on the same day as my son's middle school choir concert. I think I'll have to skip this one.

Ya that's sad... ahhh don't worry your son will have plenty of other middle school choir concerts that you can see some other time... heh heh heh

I'm not on the Watch often, but I always return eventually.
I just called the nearest one to me to order tickets, but the gut said they sold out all 3 screenings in 3 minutes! The next closest one is 5 hours away.
