I'm sore and sweaty but holy crap! Not only did my soccer team get it's first goal of the season (finally!) but we actually won! 5-1!!! Aaaand, because we were doing so well, I got to play out on the field a bit while a younger girl tried out goalie. :D

I'm feeling unjustifiably productive - unjustifiable because instead of working on the post for my blog i've been writing for months I listed the titles and worte an outline for another post to follow it, which means that I've actually done almost nothing.

I feel kinda depressed for being unproductive, and my home computer blewed up again. All of the files are still on the hard drive, but Windows is being crappy and I can't seem to get my zip dive or USB drives to work, so I can back up my damn files so I can just nuke and reformat the thing.

Luckily, nothing of immediate importance (aka my thesis) is on that computer, so I haven't cared too much. Although I would like to backup my stuff on there at some point (Like the Watch). I just havn't had the time needed to fix it.

I'll probably keep playing around with it until I just get fed up and reformat the whole thing anyway, heh. It's just not really important right now.

Until then, I'll probably be spending all of my time at my department's computer lab. Not that I wasn't planning on doing that anyway, heh.

Sheesh...one more month until May. This thing is going to end in a blaze of glory and a halo of gunfire. Or something like that. Heh.

Meh, I just need to do this thing. I hope VTech doesn't mind that I may be damaged goods come August. Heh.-jay :rocket:

How can you be depressed, Jay? Wikipedia says you originated the sprite-based comic! I could rest easy ever after if I had a Wikipedia article!

No, no, no. It's just that they don't bother using parachutes in that family.

Tch, credulous fools. The behatted person is in fact praising the long-awaited arrival of the saviour, the gigantic child that's hovering a couple of miles out to sea.

I'm grouchy because I had to come in to work in the middle of the Detroit Red Wings playoff game. I'm even more grouchy because I have since heard that they lost that game.

However, I am happy because the person whose life I supposedly saved on Thursday is still alive. :) He's in rough shape and still in the intensive care unit, but the docs are expecting him to make a full recovery from his life & death struggle last week. :) Finding that out sort of makes the first day back at work worth coming in for. :) 8)
Love as thou wilt.

I've woken up with a splitting headache and in an hour I'm supposed to be taking Son of Seareach to "Mother Goose" (lots of kiddies and mothers all sitting around reading nursery rhymes). I can't wait!

However, my parents are coming to visit for the week which is always helpful (unless they're arguing in which case it's stressful).

Such is life.
