The Gap Book Cover Gallery

Post by kevinswatch »

Just letting you all know that I've added a bunch of new books to the gallery. I even found some covers that I had never seen before. You can find the gallery here:

wam.umd.edu/~resop/gap/gallery.html

If you have any other book covers that I don't have on this site, just let me know. Or if you manage to find any images in better quality (some of them suck...heh.)

Enjoy!-jay

Hey! The Gap has been translated into German. I had no idea. I particularly like the titles in German. They are like SOOOO Wagner!

Heute sterben alle Götter!

Jeez!

Fitting, considering the inspiration for the Gap came from Wagner. :)

That's right Loremaster. I thought I had read that somewhere.

and now people can see the covers I originally got with my hard covers ... I recall trying to describe them and no one had seen them!
I love the gem-head-of-Morn cover from The Real Story...

I thought that was Forbidden Knowledge with the Morn gem-head. TRS has Angus and Nick facing it each (Nick sans-scars).

nope. When I picked up The REal Story when it first came out in hard cover (here in TO) it was the red cover with the Morn-gem-head image.
Next, the hardcover of FK was the deep purple cover with big gold letters of SRD name and the title with a tiny picture of a spaceship in the upper left corner...

It's probably different in different parts of the world and different editions. But those were the first two covers once they first came out here. I recall seeing an actual display outside my local bookstore with all the books being proudly displayed. I didn't realize SRD had written another! and gobbled it up like a hungry wolf....

Yeah, you are probably right. I recall reading the versions I have don't appear in America or the rest of the world.

I have the same editions. The Australian covers are very nice too.
