Not sure about Fasner, but the others seem good. I wouldn't have thought of Janssen as Min, but she could probably pull it off. I have no idea who Oliver Platt is, but his appearance, if nothing else, is very close to my mental picture of Angus.

I don't think Platt is physical enough for Angus. This is who I see.....

I believe that Cail refers to Vic Mackey of The Shield.

Hmmm, not bad Cail. Another one occured to me: Clancy Brown (The Curgan you know)

Edit: Nah, after browsing, I think he's to skinny and to square jawed.

Double edit: Hell no!

See:

WHAT??? As ANGUS???? 8O even if he packed on some weight, he's too good looking to be Angus!! We need a real toad-faced boombah boy like ol' Ron Jeremy or similar. Iv'e always pictured Angus as the complete physical opposite of Nick (ie, squat, overweight, ugly in that toady way, bug-eyed and hairy as a goat)

maybe if we crossed a cane toad with Dick Cheney....

Perhaps. I guess it must have been the psycopathic yellow eyes that sold him. And of course, Ron is still my main Angus, although he'll be way into his sixties before anyone starts listening to all of our good ideas ;)

Yellow eyes are easy - it's called contact lenses! And I'm with you, prebe - so far, Ron is the only one ugly/toadish enough to carry off Angus. They don't exactly have a google list of frog-faced actors... ;)

More of a real dream cast, because a few of these people are dead.

Angus: Armand Assante, maybe Chazz Palminteri?

Nick: Johnny Depp

Morn: Kate Beckensale

Milos: Steve Buscemi

Mikka: Don't know her name, bad ass woman from Die Hard 3

Vector: Paul Giamatti

Sib: Giovanni Ribisi

Davies: Tom Welling

Warden: Brian Dennehy

Holt: Harrison Ford

Hashi: BD Wong (for a younger Hashi) or George Takei (for an older one)

Godsen: John C. McGinley

Captain Vertigus: Richard Farnsworth (look him up on IMDB, sadly he's dead)

Min: Sigourney Weaver (didn't think of that until browsing this board)

Dolph: Michael Clark Duncan

The Bill: Rene Auberjonois

I'm missing some important characters, but this is a good start.

Can you believe some poor girl has got it for Nick? Talk about twisted ...
In the Gradual Interview was wrote:Dana: Hi Stephen!
I was completely hooked on the "Gap" series from page one. I think I even fell in love with Nick Succorso (yes, I'm a strange woman...)
Wondering if there is any plans afoot to somehow get these book translated into a film?

cheers
Dana
