Brazil looked so... well plain. I didn't think Brazil looked good at all, Croatia had more of the ball and attacked more. The Commentary were going all about how Croatia were being pegged back and always under fire and how amazing Brazil were... don't know what game they were watching becuase that didn't happen.

Yup it was a dull day of football it thought. France and Brazil were both poor.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

Just saw the Spain game. Its was ok, Spain won 4 - 0 against the Ukraine. It was a very good performace by Spain, weak performace by Ukraine and a very poor performace by the ref = Spain win. The ref was on Spain's sie the whole match. It wasn't a penalty, wasn't a red card and that was the worst performace by a ref so far. Torres was good, slighty hyped by the Commentary 'he was worth 30 million, now there is no value' really? He good, not as good as Rooney, Robben, Kaka, etc. I think Man U will get for about 25 million. Shev was off form but I think he needs a strong midfield, he was playing for Spain, he woul have 3 goals.

Anyway, seen all the possible nations that can win it and I think Spain will win it. I can see it being their year.

Anyone else fancy predicting a winner yet?

At the risk of angering my fellow Englishmen, I think the Czech Republic look pretty tasty.

Spain Vs Ukraine 4:0
Tunisia Vs Saudi Arabia 2:2
Germany Vs Poland 1:0
Ecuador Vs Costa Rica 3:0

That means Germany and Ecuador after two games each have 6 points each, and are the first two teams to DEFINITELY make it to the last 16.

Will England be joining them? (And indeed face one of them in the first knockout stage).

COME ON ENGLAND!

*pout* for Poland. There goes Costa Rica, too. Guess I'm gonna have to find another team to root for. England or TnT, so I don't care who wins this match... hope it's exciting, 'cause all I get on the BBC website is a textual run-through of the major plays as they happen. Also gonna bank on the Czech Republic.

Boring boring game. England 2 - 0 T & T. For 75minutes it was boring, England were bad, I nearly fell asleep. Lennon and Rooney came on and it became a bit more interesting. Gerrard got a great goal, one of the best in the 90th minute. Still a boring game. I like Jones for T&T only becuase he plays for Southampton.

Argentina won 6 - 0 against Serb & Mon. Even though it was a great win, Seb & Mon are just upstarts, anyone could beat them(accept England would wait until the last minute to do it). Best goal was the one where they had 24 passes and a shot. Argentina could win it along with Spain. England have no hope.

I don't think Serbia & Montenegro are as bad as Argentina made them look! I can't see anyone beating the Argies the way they played today! Very disappointed in Mexico this evening....
