Piers Anthony, and his Xanth series which I loved 20 yrs ago, and now it's nothing but drivelous crap! I have no problem BELIEVING fantasies, I'm just having trouble READING them, heh....

Erikson's 'Malazan' series is good, Esmer. So is George R.R. Martin's 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series. Read what you want, and don't worry about Luci.
