Cail: need some prison soap? guaranteed not to have all that purty free world stuff in it. it comes in four colors. pink, blue (the most sought after), green and grey. it is hotel size, so the inmates collect it and make a bar from 10 or more pieces.

hmmmmm, I wonder how much extra waste those little wrappers generate and how much it costs to dispose of it and what kind of impact it has on the budget and the environment......

I'll pass on anything prison related. Thanks though.

Follow up at the doctors today, I'm allergic to 3 other things too, it seems. The allergist called me, "An allergist's wet dream", which was rather inappropriate considering he was standing behind me and my shirt was off.

So I'll spend this weekend throwing away just about everything in the house that touches my skin.

Ack Cail....sorry t hear of the allergies. At least you know what's going on now. Many people with skin allergies find that using baby related products help alot....they are designed for super sensitive skin. Downside is some woman may be compelled to try and change your diaper.....

Well......

I'm allergic to.....

-Cobalt Dichloride, which is in antiperspirant, among other things.

-Cl+Me-Isothiazolinone, which is in shampoos, detergents, lotions, OTC and prescription drugs, fabric softeners, and <gasp!> toilet paper.

-Quaternium-15, which is in every hygene product known to man, including suntan lotion.

-Formaldehyde, which is also in a staggering amount of hygene products, cleaning products, and a fair amount of building materials like plywood and insulation (which is a bitch, 'cause that's what I do for a living).

dAN, for a preview of what life with my wife would be like, take all your money out of your checking and savings accounts, then borrow a few thousand bucks. Take all that money to an empty parking lot and set it on fire. If you still want her after that, she's all yours.

NY is getting blasted with freak weather, and all this global warming talk has got me looking over my shoulder and out the window, with an uneasy pall hanging in the air with the rest of the haze and smoke in my room, clouding an already uncertain future...

It's rather unusual to get new allergies once you've become an adult, ain't it? Maybe you've been exposed to too much of something on the job?
