Actually, they don't always all run up when you fight the one at the top of the stairs. There's another mission you can do, to find a murderer, that involves killing him, and I didn't attract any attention when I did it. I'm not ready to try taking them all on, though.
Last time I played I just did Mages Guild missions in Ald'Ruhn (sp?). The ones you get there are all easy run-and-fetch tasks.

A sad day recently. For the first time since it came out, Morrowind does not reside on my hard drive. I needed more room, and since I finished Morrowind and both the expansions, it had to go.

Gah! I cocked up in Bloodmoon and accidentally killed that little bugger than has to sneak you into that place. Anyway, I swung at a grahl and hit the little git instead, then went to reload my save and accidentally saved instead. Had to abandon the whole Bloodmoon main plot. :-x Oh well, I'm currently doing the Mournhold thing. Makes a nice change from wondering where I'm going to find some Dissident Priests.

i've had this with actors before, on the set,
where they get upset about the [size of my]
trailer, and i'm always like...take my trailer,
cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.
