Gap quizzes

Pay no attention to the fact that it's a WOT site; they have a quite a few SRD-related trivia games. :D

For the Gap:

9 out of 10 for both. Not bad... been a while since I read the series. :)

9 on the first and 8 on the second.

And I read them before A did, so I'll use that as my excuse for having a worse score, heh.

Some of those were kind of tricky. I'm surprised I got the scores as high as I did, since I did a lot of creative guessing, heh.-jay

just took the "names" questionaire...

.....

....
10/10 again!
:bwave:
I cheer myself because these are usually the type of questions I can't recall. I atribute this score to:
a) in the process of reading the books again
&
b)it was multiple choice..

10, and 9 (then again, I have read all five books in the last four weeks).

But I also maintain that I should have got 10 on the second - I'm fairly sure that Amnioni is the singular, not the plural, of Amnion.

10 and 8. But you're quite right, Somberlain. The plural of 'Amnion' is 'Amnion'. 'Amnioni' is the singular: a member of the Amnion species is an Amnioni. (This is the normal inflection of collective names in Semitic languages: cf. afrit—afriti, djinn—djinni, Israel—Israeli.)

So I'm claiming credit for 9.

9/10 for plot (though I hold that I should have scored 10. Angus didn't escape, he was set free.)

9/10 for names etc (again, it should have been 10, for the same reason as the Somberlain.)

9/10 but it's only because I disagree strongly with the last question regarding what happened to Angus.

IMO he did not 'escape' - but was rather rewarded with no search parties sent out after him and Motherlode. An escape suggests being chased. Angus wasn't chased.
