If at any point during the film The Joker looks at Batman and asks why he can't quit him, I'm outta there......

I thought Val Kilmer did a good job with the script he had.

I heard that Robin Williams REALLY wanted the part.
I think it would have been interesting.

Has anyone seen a small video that's out on the Net about Batman vs. Predator vs Alien?

It's about 10 minutes long.
I thought it was very well done.
The Joker in that was very different, evil looking.
I liked it!

I thought Batman Begins was really good over all, and I like the comics a lot. I'm hoping Two-Face is a villain at some point in this new series.

Yep that's it.
Thanks.
I like it.
I looks like the "Adam West" Batman if it were done today.

That video was awesome.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.

This is one sequel I'm actually looking forward to, but I'm not thrilled about this casting choice either.

HLT mentioned Robin Williams. I definitely would've preferred him. I seem to recall he had also wanted to play The Riddler in Batman Forever.

(Hey, they can still call him up to play The Comedian in Watchmen, if he's interested. That is, if that movie ever gets out of development hell.)

Robin Williams doesn't seem like a good choice to me. The Joker is insane, a madman, and I think that Williams would portray him as humorous. There's nothing funny about the Joker, he should be portrayed as extremely dangerous, possessing almost super human strength, ever bit the match for Batman.

All joking aside (pun unintended), I think Crispin Glover would've been the best choice. But yeah, wouldn't have been disappointed in Steve Buscemi either.

Man, thought Christopher Nolan had better taste. I would've rather seen Ving Rhames or the corpse of Franz Liszt in the role, really.

Nolan has earned my forebearance on the issue. Heath Ledger wouldn't have been on my list of likely candidates but the quality of "Batman Begins" has earned him the benfit of the doubt in my book.
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
