I finally got bored of EVE. I feel like it could have got more rewarding but I just didn't have the patience to do the same tasks over and over until I was good enough to start doing PvP. I got into a corporation but that wasn't much fun either.
Anyway, I'm back onto Civ 4, which is far superior and doesn't cost me money!

Now that I've moved house and had the internet cruelly snatched away from me, I've reverted to offline gaming.
I've finally got round to playing Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. I really enjoyed it to begin with, but no every single room is a complete nightmare and I have to reload the game again and again. I really hope I'm on the last mission, I can't take much more!

Q. Why do Communists drink herbal tea?
A. Because proper tea is theft.

My friend let me have his copy of DOOM Collector's Edition (Doom, Doom II, and Final Doom).
Downloaded a mod called Doomsday, which greatly improves the graphics and responsiveness of the original Doom games (enables mouse control on Windows XP, allows for higher resolutions, better sound, bullet ricochet, etc). Having hella fun mowing down demons.
Never really played these games, due to me thinking they were so archaic. Just need a little modding, was all. Now I can understand the fervor for them. Must've been mindblowing indeed when Doom hit in 93. Woulda scared the crap out of me as a kid.

My sister's boyfriend bought a PSP at the weekend and I had a play on that. For a machine that's supposed to be foundering, it's got some damn good games on it. My favourite was LocoRoco, which was so fresh, simple and playable that it felt like a Nintendo game.
I'm giving a lot of thought to buying a PSP.

I've been playing Soul Calibur III a lot lately, and I picked up a job-lot of Nintendo 64 games for a steal, so my N64 has had a pretty good workout for the first time in ages.
I think I'm going to play through X-Men Legends II again to kill time waiting for Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, which I have on pre-order. Either that, or Ogre Battle 64.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
Endut!
Hoch Hech!

I've been trying to land myself a Japanese White PSP on eBay. Apparently the screen on the Japanese ones is made by Sharp and is significantly better than the European ones made by Samsung. I'm making a wishlist of games already: WipEout Pure, LocoRoco, Burnout Legends, GTA Liberty City Stories, Metal Gear Acid, Mercury. I'll have to find out what sort of software I need to rip and compress DVDs on to the memory stick, too.

Halo 2 and Top-Spin on the Xbox, also Pro-Evo 6 on the PS2.
But if you're all about the destination, then take a fucking flight.
We're going nowhere slowly, but we're seeing all the sights.
And we're definitely going to hell, but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
Full of the heavens and time.
