Heh. Wow. Talk about raising the bid, heh.

Oh yeah, I didn't want to say it, but please be reasonable when raising the bids. If you win by just bidding 1 more then the last person, they may not like you very much.-jay

Nah, it'd only be elitist if I said I still had 380,000 WGDs left after paying that bid... d'oh!

Heh...yeah...I wonder how big the gap is in between the people who were around before the decreased interest rate and the people who came after the new interest rate...heh. Well, I think I just got an idea for a way to help out people who don't have spare WGD cash...a game! We could give away WGD in some sort of Forum game. Let me think of idea. Maybe something simple will do.-jay

It's harder than you might think, Jay. I've tried to bribe people to post in Vespers for mad amounts of WGDs and a contest once in Hall of Gifts and only got a lukewarm response... mainly from those who already had about as much WGDs as I do.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Maybe I should just GIVE WGDs to people who are lacking, heh. But a good, official, trivia topic would be nice. I was thinking something like Who Wants To Be A 10000 WGDaire. But my ability at coming up with good Covenant questions probably sucks, heh.-jay

Actually I dug my own grave because I was here before the WGD system was even introduced, but took off to the football boards about the same time it started, and so missed out on all of the action!

Shouldn't the worth of posts in WGDs be linked to the de biers diamond rate or something? :D Who's going to represent KevinsWatch on the next World Economic Forum? Do we have a free trade agreement?

I think I joined only days before the market crashed and I've got about 7000 wgds right now. Of course 5000 were so generously donated to me

Not to mention that you had some awesome 55 word short stories.

Dunno about you guys but I'm in favour of resetting everybody's accounts to 10K each as long as my prior account is <10K ... which it is ... so I'm in favour.

Nah I'm not really fussed, if you did that it'd be unfair on the guys with higher balances, AND it'd be unfair on anyone who happened JUST to join afterwards.

What I'd do if you wanted to level the playing field is just up the interest rate to something heftier (both deposit and withdrawal), but have a ceiling over which the interest rate no longer applies.

Ahh I dunno ... I'm just whingeing for the fun of it, really. I got an oath already so I'm partway there.

Well OK, cap it at 100K? ;)

With the idea that if it goes above 100K, the owner should be donating the excess in the spirit of the Land :)

A 100k cap sounds good to me. So, to quote Ash, "Who wants some?" I got about 250k-ish to disperse. Just send me a PM stating the desired amount. All I ask is one new topic in Vespers per donation.

Nav... that should cover it.
