Could That Pungent Earthblood Have Done With Some Chlorine?

Post by Landwaster »

I would have thought, as Lords, there'd be some responsibility to ensure that health dangers to the Land were averted or at least controlled.

That Earthblood, with thr heady aroma and somewhat overtly and overly nutritious texture/colour ... do you think we should get it chlorinated under the next government budget?

Should a simple wire cage be erected around the stairwell to the top of Kevin's Watch? Perhaps another on the watch itself?

I think its about time that the Soulsease had a decent bridge connecting the North Plains directly with Andelain. There's a lot of traffic over the river there, and the nearest safe crossing is way up at Revelstone.

Shouldn't a fence be erected around Andelain? Vandals tend to have a field day.

Where was the little alcove in the side of the tree of Soaring Woodhelven where Quell brand fire extinguishers could be kept?

Shouldn't the track taken by Elena and TC into the Westron Mountains have a sign at the base advising "experienced bushwalkers and climbers only"?

Landsdrop needs walkways. A grader should be sent through Doom's Retreat once every six months to clear debris. Do Ranyhyn riders have third party insurance? Where's the signs warning them not to take hurtloam and ride. Is there a blood-hurtloam content limit? Should Diamonddraught be allowed on boats only in unopened containers?

Should gloves be issued for people carrying graveling pots?

And why the hell isn't the Giantway signposted as DRY WEATHER ROAD ONLY?

Are we doing enough to ensure safety amongst the people of the Land?

Not sure about the wire cage, but we definately need a handicap ramp going up Kevin's Watch.

And do you realize how difficult it would be to be a lifeguard at Glimmermere? I think they're going to have to put up a "no swimming" sign.

Also, I don't recall Foamfollower ever having an operator's permit for his boat. Need to look into that. We also need something along the lines of the DMV... maybe the Dept. of Ranyhyn Riders to make sure everyone's registered.

Hmmm, another sign... "Don't feed the Lurker," or possibly a "No Earthpower within 50 yards" warning.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”

I think we need proper roads running in and out of the Shattered.... whatever it was called. Yes, we should call in a road crew immediately! :)

And some levees would go along way toward freeing up some of the Great Swamp for agriculture.

This is a very funny thread, but it makes you think.....
All these things would ruin the land, and yet someone in our world has gone ahead and done them :x

Theres just too many rules regulations and procedures nowadays; I think if you want to take a risk you have a right to do so!!!

Well yeah but nobody seemed TOO thrillseeking in TCTC ... whereas imagine the insurance premiums for playing Harry Potter's Quidditch (sp?). It'd be prohibitive.

Imagine if a whole bunch of the constabulary turned up to arrest Brinn and Ak-Haru thingemebob, just as they were about to start proceedings ... like at the end of Monty Python's Holy Grail ...

Oh yeah, and I think cane toads should be introduced up north to help contain the arguleh problem.
