ANTHOLOGY ONE: A NEW VERSION IS AVAILABLE
www.lulu.com/content/335641
Well I don’t think anyone will be surprised by this news but we’ve updated and revised the old version of the First Anthology. We apologize that we didn’t wait to get a proof back to inspect the book for errors before announcing its availability but for goodness sakes we made you all wait so very long it seemed like a good idea.
The good news is that the text font issue has been corrected (our book should look much more like a conventional publication). Since the font size was formatted to a more normal size the book itself shrunk down from around 450 pages to about 250 which also reduced the cover price by about 4 bucks. The copyright page has been more properly stated along with credit for the editing and cover art and a formal publication date / publishing company. I’ve also added a dedication page paying homage to one Stephen R. Donaldson. To all of you that have or will soon receive a copy of the old version of the Anthology I believe you have a real collector’s item on your hands.

You are soooo kind!!!duchess of malfi wrote:HA! I saw your pictures Creator. I would never call you an old fart! (I think that you are younger than me! )
I also loved the large print special edition.
If people find editing mistakes, is there a person or place to report them for future editions?

Joy is right. If you happen to find something feel free to send me a PM, an email or just post something in one of these threads. I'll find it and have a look. Making alterations now is no sweat. It won't affect the price of the book since editorial changes would for the most part be fairly minor.duchess of malfi wrote:If people find editing mistakes, is there a person or place to report them for future editions?

I have a friend who says she is going to order the book, but she only reads large-print books. Can there be a large-print version available as an alternate? Or is that too complicated? I can still trade her mine for her small print if she will accept it.

I believe it is possible to make both versions available but you may have a point about it being confusing. As it stands the old version was overwritten by the new one on the LULU web site.Dragonlily wrote:I have a friend who says she is going to order the book, but she only reads large-print books. Yeah thats certainly worth changing. The more sets of eyes we have looking at the manuscript the more likely we we will find errors. Even professional publications have typos slip through the editing process.
The good news is that making a change (even a minor one) is pretty easy. The orginal manuscript is altered, converted to a pdf, I send it to Jay and boom he replaces the old file with the new one. (which I will do right now)
