Johansson gave a wonderful, understated performance in Lost In Translation (as did Bill Murray). I love this kind of low-key acting.

As for Johansson's sexiness, no argument here.

I must go shower now....
I'm quite partial to the first picture. Must have something to do with women in the kitchen, and cleaning the fridge ;)

Yeah but dumb on a beautiful babe is hot.
So that makes her even more sexy!

At least she's pretty.
All those years of being told by the world that Julia Roberts was "beautiful" made me question humanity itself.

Roberts' red hair and great smile was in her favor - but when she wasn't smiling, she looked too much like her brother Eric. 8O :hairs:

...and too much like Mr. Ed. Her acting, however, is the think I find most unnactive about her...unlike Miss Johansen

I'd vote for Liv Tyler. Hands Down (Or wherever she wants to put them)

I'd have to agree on the whole Julia Roberts thing...I never understood why she was even considered attractive as far as movie start status goes...I guess it goes along with my ealier post, that famous people are just attamatically concodered more attractive.

Maybe - she looked fantastic in Lost In Translation, with the make-up toned right down, but she doesn't suit high-glamour.

She used to be a lot better looking - it's got nothing to do with age, she looks like she might have had some significant work done on her eye/cheek area. In the Mystique outfit, however - hell yeah.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

hey sarge .. I think the movie you are thinking of is the DePalma Movie with Antonio Bandares called "Femme Fatale" ... it's pretty good. Great camera work as usual. A couple of VERY sexy scenes in it. But as will most of DePalma's work, the ending falls flat.
